Jennifer Hampton is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with experience in crisis response programs, behavioral hospital programs, school-based programs, and private practice. I have provided group, family, and individual therapy, as well as clinical supervision, mentorship for new employees, and service referrals. My goal is to help you move toward your passions and purpose when life feels too heavy or overwhelming. Over the past 10 years, I have witnessed that when people identify their values, build a strong support system, and develop effective coping strategies, they are better able to enjoy life.
I work with children, adolescents, and adults who desire to live purposeful and joyful lives. I enjoy incorporating laughter into the therapeutic process as we work toward meaningful goals. In my work, I help clients and their support systems strengthen their connections so they can achieve their desired outcomes. I believe therapy can be both engaging and enjoyable while helping individuals learn healthy coping skills.
I graduated from Washington University in St. Louis with a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology and a Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Children, Youth, and Families. I have been trained in DBT and ACT. When I’m not at the office, I’m usually outside with my kids, gardening, participating in fun runs, or working on a house project.
Experiences in crisis assessment, clinical supervision, de-escalation, and coordinating of care.
I believe your mental health is just as important as your physical health. Everyone can benefit from seeking support from a licensed clinical professional to help sort through confusion and identify goals that support their mental well-being so they can live a purposeful life. I also like to add that the process can be enjoyable and fun, too!
